This really is a world gone mad!
I am a member of the Bretheren of Buttock Worshipers and I am offended by your blatant assault on your glorious ringpiece, I shall be burning 3 copies of our 'bible' which is entitled 'The Glorious Rusty Sheriffs Badge' and posting the ashes through your letter box (as soon as I find out where you live, in the meantime, has anyone got a hoover I can borrow).
"Are you a jew by any chance ?", "No, a tree fell on me"
'I was certain, positive, convinced, and yet...unsure'

Josie, it was deliberate on my part. You and imagine many others had no idea what I was posting about. Its my belief that 99% of the public would never have been aware that Anelka had made an offensive gesture were it not all over the news. He touched his right arm with his left hand. Now, everyone knows what it means and it will no doubt become commonplace!
I honestly didn't know what you were posting about, I have never heard that terminology or seen the gesture before either.
I never saw this news piece, sorry
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

A certain player of Liverpool now only has to do the slightest thing like going down in the penalty area and they are straight in at him about diving, penalty or otherwise.
The media are not to blame for this nor are they regarding Suarez. The PLAYERS concerned are to blame.
Suarez now gets an easy ride in the media, they even defend him. THE TRUTH; Suarez is an amazing talent but he is a vile horrible scumbag who would do anything / everything to con / cheat his way to success. The most recent DIVE was defended by Shearer Et Al when it was clearly a dive, an act of cheating. He is not the first Uruguayan footballer to have such a trait.

I'm no expett on the game but I read in the paper that the rules now state that if there is the slightest contact within the penalty box, the player is entitled to go down. That's what I read anyway.
Stan Collymore called it right and we can all see what happens when you tell the truth.
Stan Collymore has a chip on his shoulder about Liverpool ever since they got rid of him and knows what reaction he would get by having swipe about the penalty which was a correct decision according to the match pundits.
Even made headlines for himself on the national news

That's your opinion but like Shearer, I think that that on this occasion, it was not a dive as he was clearly clipped and therefore a penalty.
My opinion based on the incident and not the player involved.

Collymore said that the contact 'wasn't enough to knock down a toddler'. I think it was Mark Lawrenson in his column who claimed that force of contact is irrelevant as the rules clearly state that upon any contact at all, the player is 'entitled to go down'!

Lawro and Hansen seem to have discovered a new rule book since Suarez started playing for Liverpool. To be honest BY AND LARGE the commentators today are a joke with their acceptance of diving when they should be condemning it.
Suarez has incredible balance when he wants to use it and he can ride challenge after challenge BUT in the box or in his free kick range (He cheated for that late in the game) a feather duster could knock him over.
Cheating needs to be driver from British football. At the present time every clubs has 2 or 3 divers/cheats.
