I do because I don't believe public criticism ever motivates anyone at all.

I don't have a problem with him dropping the player if he feels it justified but SW still needs to learn when to stop volunteering TMI to the press IMO.

(Don't you just love TLA's!)

Pleased as I am to see the promise shown by many of our younger players lets not too carried away. Josh was superb last year (and could get better still). Manfredi is doing well but may never be as good as Josh was last year. We should be doing everything we can to keep Josh at Wigan rather than just assume that he's going and start talking up his possible replacement. Make the lad feel wanted, I don't believe he wants to leave!

Would you let Manfredi or Burgess go?

Josh isn't going anywhere and this isn't the first time Shaun has decided to give a player a kick up the ass, Wane knows how to handle his players so there's no need to second guess his decisions.

Funny how he managed to single out Charnley against roosters when worst man on field by a country mile was Bowen. Charnley scored 2 tries for god sakes against best club side in world.
Also T.B.W A hernia operation can be a major operation depends on each person and how bad it is. I know I had one and could not walk proper for four weeks after surgery never mind back to full playing fitness.I also know off many other atheletes out for 2 months plus with hernia ops.

IMO Bowen shown his true colors in that match, great player but no desire to perform for us. Early release wouldn't surprise me at all, singling out Josh sends a message out to the whole team if he can be dropped anyone can

If it was a choice of keeping Josh and losing Manfredi today I would not hesitate in keeping Josh. If Josh does leave then of course Manfredi may well develop into his long term replacement. However, if Josh wants to stay and plays at his best I don't see why we wouldn't keep him at Wigan for many years. Burgess is a potential star, plays on the other wing, can already hold down a first team place and may also develop into a fullback. We'd be very foolish to lose him at this stage

1 Hampshire
2 Charnley
3 Goulding
4 Sarginson
5 Burgess

To me this has so much potential in years to come we'll be using these players as the benchmark

There was a short clip of josh pulling on his shirt in the roosters change room.
He didn't seem to be in top shape looking at the clip, but yet who would having recently gone under the knife.
I don’t think there would be too much upper body strength training that he could do recovering from a hernia op, but hey ho I am no weight lifting specialist.

Kaii, you seem to have the 'in' on Josh Charnley as this isn't the first time you have spoken with apparent authority. So how would you answer the rumours that a) He has agreed terms with an NRL club for 2015, b) He would like to leave early and c) He has sold his house in readiness for his departure?
