A very easy one to call... beaten by a better team

Wigan played well but their defence was outstanding. Quickness off the mark sometimes before the ball is played has kept us quiet.

Trophy's at the end of season are what count.
Think you are clutching at straws with that.

Nothing amazing sums it up for me in 2 words..

Few players scoring above 6 out of 10 IMHO, solid & team like & dug in well with purpose but every time Leeds got a sniff of our line they looked like they would score & most times they did. Leeds last try summed this all up for me, to many missed tackles, bouncing off players, madly out of position (Burgess)

Disappointed but pick ourselves up & move on...we are tyhe Champions, await our next game with interest..

A&L (just like Belfast)

So they wouldn't have made a difference? Every credit to Leeds they played well, but was helped by some dubious decisions from the first tackle by Bentham that gave them momentum, nothing to fear for me though.

There is much debate re Thornley (I like him by the way) but Leeds were missing players as well.

How much influence would a winger have?

Lockers is looking like retirement material because he is injured more than he plays.

We have a few injuries to players and we are well beaten. Hence my comment.

I'll go with that. I thought 22-12 was fair, as did ITV News who reported this as the final score. Their last 6 points pissed me off more than anything!

To be fair Dave, no Lockers makes a huge different, nobody can deny that. I think we missed our players far more than they did.

22-12 albeit not fair on Leeds would have suggested given how poorly we played that we can beat Leeds. The last score was probably fair on them but I repeat there is very little special about this Leeds team. The back 3 is the best feature but the rest are honest hard workers with a non half back guiding them around.

Lateral RL is not the way to beat Leeds!

Injury free and flowing well they will have a lul around the end of next month but will fire again to go all the way. IMO Wigan are the only team capable of beating Leeds in a tight game and on evidence we simply don't have the players.
Yep, a pretty fair summation, OF THE SEASON SO FAR!

We've been where they are too though, and been found wanting when it counted. Still very early days as Leeds are now the team to beat. Whether by design or accident (and ignoring last night's garbage), Sky are providing good entertainment at present. Now can't wait for next Thursday's Cas v Leeds game!

Wigan simply don't have the punch up front to trouble the likes of Peacock et all and don't have the pace outwide over Leeds either. They currently have the best fullback in the league and also the best 3/4 by a mile.

Correct. It is of course our own fault we don't have the players.

Unless we are lucky Leeds will, IMO, beat us in every significant game we play them in.

There is debate re Thornley but would Hardaker have gone round him as easily as he did Sarge? don'tknow

I believe if Charnley had either of Gellings' breaks he would have probably gone the distance and scored

I agree, however for me, after the first 15 minutes or so for the most part Leeds didn't get as far down field during their sets as we did. The difference being they took their chances when they came, whereas we didn't, and more importantly their last tackle options/kicks were superior to ours. Our kick options were naive at best, poorly executed at worst, we never seemed to put a grubber into the in-goal to force a drop out or take options to keep pressure on.
