He's now being linked with Stains on the back of a persistent rumour that Luke Walsh wants to go home!

Re: Michael Dobson
He's going to Salford, four year deal apparently
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Good signing for Salford, more reliable than Tim Smith

Yes good signing as you say cpw but my question would be this.Would he work with Rangi Chase?cpwigan wrote:Good signing for Salford, more reliable than Tim Smith
Re: Michael Dobson
Yeah. Smith was always a strange signing, especially to go with Chase.cpwigan wrote:Good signing for Salford, more reliable than Tim Smith

Re: Michael Dobson
Too inconsistent to be a real good player, he lacks pace and relies massively on his kicking game.
Would be disappointed if wigan had re-signed him.

Re: Michael Dobson
When Dobson left Hull K R, he said it was his ambition to play at top level in the NRL, but is now returning to Super League and Salford.
That tells me that the Aussies do not rate him as a top level player and comes as no surprise as he has never improved on the form he showed when at Catalan and the short spell at Wigan.
In fact, his biggest mistake was leaving Wigan as I think he would have progressed with a bigger club like ours.
