Some of you need to go back to season 1979-80 if you think some of the more recent signings were bad.

In that season, most of the squad was bad, not just the odd one or two in different seasons.

Who could forget Sivori,Stockley,Greenall,Coyle,Foran,Rennox,Butler etc. Used to go every week and tried to convince myself that they wern't THAT bad. -They were.!

Oliver Wilkes.. I've seen him play many times and he was a winner and his very short time with us he scored. A decent player in my opinion

Jimmy Birts HAS to make any worst Wigan team.

I felt sorry for jimmy, he was on a hiding to nothing. Wasn't a full back in the country who could have fill George Fairburns boots!
