I just hope it's not the plastic stuff ironed on!

The best shirts I've had were Lockers testimonial shirt, the two Joining Jack shirts & the England shirts, especially the commemorative one.

All the logos etc are in with the material, not embroidered & definitely not plastic stuff!!

About time we had a well known company again as the main sponsor.

I've a feeling the forum's positivety over securing a national brand, maybe outweighs the financial returns for the Club, from a purely business point of view.

Reading between the lines, it appears to be just a one year deal for the 2015 season only, and this is unusual for major sponsorships. It could mean it favours the company financially, more than the Club, just to secure the name of a 'brand'. It also means the Club will need to search for another Main Sponsor going forward.

Also I fail to see any details announced of the true £'s value of this deal, unless I've missed this somewhere ?
Well its better than Housing for Homes that is for sure. That was embarrassing as the main sponsor.

However I take your point about how much is the deal worth. The RFL got slagged off (and rightly so) for having Stobarts as sponsor for free so it's to be hoped we do get a meaningful amount of cash from this and are not just going for the exposure.

I see Coral are offering special odds to Wigan fans on a couple of bets and it would be interesting to know if they factored in any loss of business in St. Helens after becoming our sponsor :D

Can't see IL not getting the most he can from a sponsor, we must have got a decent amount

I bet (pardon the pun) IL got naff all off Housing for Homes. If that wasn't a "Stobart" like deal I'd be very surprised.

Hopefully this is solid commercial deal with Coral. The more income the club generates the better as it ought to make it easier to say "no" when clubs come waving cheque books for transfer fees for our players.
