I can't make it Thursday, but would be greatful if the following questions could be asked.

1) What are the plans for the academy competition. IMO a single U19's comp is not the answer and needs to be replaced with U18's and U23 with a max of 3 overage players in the U23's comp.

2) Is Wigan t.v providing the revenue stream that was expected, and is it profitable.

3) Same as question (2) for Central Park.

Personally whilst a nice sounding idea I found the forums futile. You invariably get some banale questions that waste much of the limited time. IL does not like difficult questions IMO or to be challenged.

Quite shocked the forums are back to be honest.

I wouldn't mind knowing how Lee Mossop is progressing with his rehab and how far he is off playing first team.
How does the club see the progression of Oliver Gildart into the first team bearing in mind we have Dan, Anthony and Iain pressing for places when fit.
With Sean Long now assistant coach at our fierce competitor does the club have any thoughts on his short term coaching at Wigan and passing on what he learned to that club regarding training methods and skill base from Wigan.

At least supporters are getting the chance to say something or ask a question which is not the case at many clubs.

WW on the face of it, it sounds a great idea but the reality is very different. It was always stage managed and became increasingly so with a large part of the evening being a presentation. It is a while since the last one as it was Mick Hogan the then CEO 'baby' although Joe Lydon may have held one before at the Deanery but IIRC, even the questions were selected prior to commencing albeit the very early forums would have some incredulous questions, IIRC there was one about shredded wheat or breakfast cereal.

Far more can be communicated on the club website / TV channel etc.

The first one was at the Deanery with Joe Lydon ????

Was you at the one at the DW where I confronted Mr Lenegan about moving the Good Friday game to a Thursday? He wasn't a happy man with me that night & actually wouldn't speak to me for a couple of years

Alls well again now tho ????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The reason the game was moved to Maundy Thursday was that Wigan were playing in Perpignan on Easter Monday so it made sense for the team and travelling fans to move the Saints game from it's usual Good friday spot.

I came away Josie from the forums with the impression that IL 'suffered' them to the point he hated being questioned dare I say criticised. It makes me wonder why the forums are returning.

I will not be there but I would dearly love somebody to ask why Wigan did not accept that Ben Flower was guilty but equally challenge/argue that the incident was instigated by the equally guilty born again 'Saint Lance'?

As for the Flower matter, why not attend and ask IL face to face instead of making bullets for someone else to fire?
