A bit off topic, but Chingalings reminds me of a Wigan Ob headline in the 60s (I think):

There was a Chinese restaurant called the Pacific Ocean, poss on Market St, and they had a fire. Headlines in the Wigan Ob were something like "Wigan Fire Brigade fight Pacific Ocean blaze"

Yes it was on Market St. Went in a couple of times. Dont remeber the headline though but would have only been a nipper in the 60's
