I know some in here don't seem to rate him I honestly think he is outstanding, yeah he has the odd brain fart, but I can live with that for the effort and enthusiasm he adds.

Am in Ireland so listened in on Wish FM. Sounded good, ruthless defence and some flair in attack. I like the Wish duo - light hearted but very pro Wigan.
One question has to be asked - is Dom better than Josh or vice versa???

Sounded like our forwards are getting their act together. How did Crosby go at loose forward?

Happy, curry-filled Irish holidaying Ted

Good solid result it was a smidge on the windy side so had to feel for young Ryan he kept on trying but really wasnt his day today.

Crosby was excellent first half looked knackered at the end but he always looks like that so you can forgive him i suppose, young Manfredi is just getting better and better, still not sure what Gelling was doing with the football pass but as ever you dont know what he's going to do including his boss i would assume.

Gelling for MOM by a country mile by my accounts, followed by Micky Mac and Crosby, the team was consistent and didn't get riled. How Smith got sponsors MOM was a mystery, mostly anonymous apart from the 40-20.
Another thing, 5 of those 8 goal kicks from Hampshire should have been nailed, no excuses or try to wrap him in cotton wool, its a good job it was a "nothing" match.
Back to you Mr. Lenigan!

Mick.

P.S. That football pass was a knock-on from them, so a free ball for Wigan, why not try something new?

I've given Gelling plenty of criticism this season but credit where credit is due, that was easily his best game of the season. He came infield and helped the forwards out whilst also combining well with Manfredi. I still say he should be in the pack though as he always makes good yards and he is a bit crazy!

We were far better v Catalans than any game this season.
Perhaps started with the pack who looked good.
We had real pace from the back with Hampshire and out wide through Manfredi and Burgess.
The best performance of the season so far IMO.

Have to say though, we were fortunate to have Catalans as the third game of Easter. I think three games is too much for them especially when they have to travel twice.

They were the opposition and we played them very well.
The game at their place will be one to look forward to.

We allowed no breaks and only four players missed a tackle. It was an all around performance. Hopefully we'll see more of the same on Thursday.
