we could certainly do with his kicking game. Stand off aint much different from fly half in rugby union. Kick, Pass, Run with ball he could fit in easily.

sorry to shout but HE'S EARNING £5M PER YEAR!!

Of course not in playing fees but through various commercial spinoffs totally associated with RU.

Why do you think Jason Robinson went?

Why has Farrell gone?

I repeat - you will never get an established England RU international coming to RL. Also, we have enough lame ducks and permanent walking wounded thanks.

You've hurt my ears shouting like that!

Like you say: most of that money is in sponsorship.

Don't get me wrong. I dont actually believe it could happen, but a little dreaming does no harm.

Better than all the doom and gloom we've had recently!

sorry to say pandasdad but wilkinson is injury prone in union what's he going to be like in league where he will have to do alot more tackling and alot more being tackled, don't think he last five minutes.

Tell that to Harris, H. Paul, Jiffy etc.

Do you watch RU? Did you see Wilko's form in the WC?

Ever heard of Carlos Spencer?

Agree Wilko would bring much needed publicity to the game. IMO he would be as successful as Terry Holmes at Bradford.

TH signed for £150,000 as the best scrum half in the world. He was an utter disaster, was paid off and never heard of again.

Wilko wold be the same. His form in the WC wasdire and the drop goal conspired to hide all his faults as regards positioning and creative play.

Wilkinson could come to league for the new challenge.

I think the reason Wilkinson is so injury prone is because he makes so many good tackles on huge blokes. In league they might be huge but they're toned, less likely to damage ligaments than a belly roll flopping on your knee. :D
