You can always look yourself. One easy simple example;

He was asked to

You need to stop thinking debates have to be 'won' as do many fans.

A prime example is pre-season training location (home/abroad) Kris Rads clearly explained it is not either / or but dependent on the particular objective at this point in time.

Williams is only a kid still, he'll be fine with a months rest of so.

I don't know the lad, he seems pretty level headed but it would be easy to rest on your laurels achieving what he achieved on a personal front last season and ease up a tad this season.

Wane IMO has done the right thing here and is keeping him on his toes.

I'm excited to see his progression this season

Williams is a fantastic talent and will be great.

However, although people say 'young they will be fine' etc one has to remember his body is probably not physically mature and that fatigue can lead to problems. Wigan took and explained a stance that players on international duty need protecting from themselves in the interest of the club by making them rest. Now obviously the Williams situation is contrary so one could argue that if you believe something it should apply to all. Hopefully George has a fantastic season particularly the start because the moment he has an ordinary game early season people will be saying, he should have rested pre season. If he is outstanding they will may well say otherwise. Hopefully it will be the latter.

Certainly agree with the line on debates being won.

I seem to remember something being said by Wane about Bateman when we signed him. He wont play many games, we have to break him down to build him up etc but he seemed to play a lot of games.
