yeah but think about all the songs we've sung over the years about ian millward which they can now turn and use against us we need to be extra vocal

I'm glad Dennis is staying as he is Wigan through and through and I'm sure he will give Millward the support he needs. I agree with earlier comments about not trusting Mo who seems to pick the players we buy and I wonder just how much say the coach has in recruitment. I personnally can't see Millward lasting the 3 years, not if you look at our track record with coaches.
Let's get behind the lads and take a big following to Salford. I was disapointed on Friday with the result but not as disappointed as I was with the fans who booed the team. It was disgraceful!

What is going to be interesting is the team selections, millward shows an awful lot of faith in youngsters james roby and ian hardman for example, and this appears to have paid off. Maybe the chance for coyle to break through, allen to push wild for a place etc, etc. Apart from long, cunningham, scully and wellens millward started off with average players but could make them perform well and you've got to have respect for him for managing it.

Lets hope Millwards enthusiasm is infectious and our lads take it out with them onto the pitch, cause these days they don't seem to respond well to critism.

I am a great believer in giving our club and coach our full support but I feel really weird now having to support Milly it sort of goes against the grain. Suppose got too used to abusing him!

Now that we have finally got a first team coach (and before you all go crazy, Betts was only supposed to be a temporary measure) the board may start finding money for a good conditioning team.

Each year, without fail, we have injury problems from the start. It's almost as if they've been doing no training during the off season because as soon as we start a new season everyone is injured!!!!

It would also do us some good not to have a chunk of the first team sold off. Whilst I know we have a good youth element coming through, we need not have been so radical.

I still have a theory that we're being sold down the river for the sake of the football team.... too suspicious I suppose!!!!!


Can anyone tell me how Mike Gregory is? I have been living in the wilderness for a while and haven't really kept up to date! Based on the fact that we now have Millward, was Gregory sacked, medically retired etc....
