cpwigan, I am more inclined to believe you rather than believe the sister of a player who has thrown his lot in with Orrell and the Union game!
Over a dozen people approached me goin into the ground & on the concourse of the ground last night!

I sent Dan a text asking him if there was any truth in it, but of course he was warming up on the field at the time. I got a reply just before midnight from Dan, to say it wasn't true.

It was quite plausible that it "could" be true as there has been speculation among fans for months about this topic. And when, as I said, over a dozen people all come with moreorless the same story, it is a viable "Rumour". And that is what this forum is for, just that, Rumours!

Bloody hell, there's been over half a dozen pages in the Rumour Mill & two threads running concurrently about Bob Beswick for Gods sake!

I believe Josie 99.9% of the time. Sometimes I, anybody are given incorrect information BUT both Josie and myself checked with two different sources to both confirm it was not true.

But if it was untrue, surely it should have been checked out before it was mentioned on the website?

Its no good shutting the stable door when the horse has already bolted!

Or, DON'T READ threads in the rumour mill if you can't accept that they are unconfirmed reports. Really simple.

This is a rumour mill.
Some rumours come out being correct and others don't.
As long as people pass on honestly what's been said to them, what's the problem about this rumour mill.
Personally, I like it, as it adds a bit of fun and maybe 'hope' or 'hope not' to the debate.
Thought Dan looked comfortable at 1 last night, Leeds were poor and he needs to get his passing game sorted, but not bad at all. ????

Sounds like they're having or have had a look at him for next season. Maybe someone just added a bit to the story - the old chinese whispers routine

Josie regardless of what Sarg told you. your not far off the truth. because this was put out deliberately by his agent to spark a interest down under. I am not a betting man but will bet my life he will not go to gold coast.
