Whatever is going on with Lee Mossop,it needs sorting out. Whether it's a physical issue or whether it's his confidence, he certainly is not playing himself into form. If it was the Mossop of 2012 / 13 ie international standard, then an average version of him would still be a good player. As it is, what we've got is a player whose presence drops those around him. Never seen a player of his size be so defensively weak against straightforward grunt work by opposition props.

Just hope we haven't got another Stuart Fielden on our hands...

Possibly time for Wigan to sort out some "Dual registration" system with a club and give the likes of Joel and Mossop time away from the club. Could be that playing at a lower level might give them the fitness and confidence they so clearly lack

Mossop went on record as saying he will protect his shoulders by playing smarter, does that mean playing at a slower pace, not running the ball in as hard or going into tackles with less impact?

Said at the times we re-signed |Joel and Mossop that it would be a mistake, not been proved wrong yet have i, absolute rubbish, we should look at some of the championship props and see if we could do a straight swap for one with Mossop, i'm sure there'll be a few quality props down there that would love the cahance to pull on the famous Cherry and White in the Super Duper League

One of the biggest factors regarding Joel is that we don't have a half back capable of producing a defence splitting pass. He would have a field day running off Edwards and Gregory. Secondly, we need to slim him down and make him more mobile.

We appeared to have one with Swinton Lions judging by the fact that some of their players like Aarunson, Austin and Batt have been playing in our reserve team and Fell playing for them.
