Seriously though, why would we consider getting rid of Bateman for whatever indiscretion he is supposed to have done and then think of recruiting this bloke, who has committed far more serious incidents both on field AND off field over the last few years

A very valid point. Make JB dye his hair blonde and move on. As for any club paying £300k for Hardaker, not a hope in hell.

Hardaker has been linked with Canberra Raiders with Peter Mullholland the Raiders head of recruitment staying at Gary Hetheringtins gaff on a trip to the UK, Mulholland denies any Raiders interest in Hardaker, however stated that Frank-Paul Nuuausala is likely to leave the club for Superleague.
