We always make a big deal out of Joel not playing but we always seem to play better without him

It's that time of season again,when our fitness shows.
Cats looked knackered in the last 30.
If we click in attack,someone is in for a real hiding

Really ugly first 20 minutes. Catalans forgot everything that won them matches and went back to the old Cats - laying on - fouling - minor thuggery. It basically lost them the match.
I thought apart from that opening 20 minutes when we fancied a punch-up and the inevitable start of the second half when we were sluggish as usual, we were really rather impressive. Lot of good performances from people like Sarginson and Matty Smith's kicking was outstanding.

The kind of performance that might just bring us some silverware.
Only downside was I thought George got a knock near the end of the first half and had a long spell off to the end of the match. Shorrocks was fine but hope it's not a reoccurrence of the injury.

Sutton & Sarginson were fantastic. Mossop did well too, poor pen but that's a technical he's always had, always plants his feet and gets squared up too easily.

Top win.

Much happier on the bus back compared to this time last year!

Another big result, and another match where we were easily good enough even without an 80 minutes performance.
