Supposing someone was thinking of moving to Wigan....

Got anything else on your mind that isn't about the Warriors? If you do, this is the place to post.

Thanks, yes, that struck me too. I think in most towns the area around the park is a good housing area (certainly was in my home town too) and Wigan is no exception. Handy for a quick pint in Doc's on the way to town! I did look at a place in Barnsley Street.

Things moving on a bit. My house down here is now officially on the market, and have had viewings all week, a couple more later today. As soon as I see some realistic interest, I will resume the search in earnest. :)

Well done, hope everything goes to plan :)
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Moto, just thinking back a while. I was cleaning my car in front of my house in Hawkley Hall when someone saw my car stickers and said he was a rugby fan and was looking to move to the area. He was checking out houses in two near by streets. Was that you?

No, it wasn't. So I'm not the only one! :)

Last time I was in Wigan was the Hull game.

A full packed day of house viewings today (I drove up yesterday, and how glad will I be when I don't have to do that six hour journey any more!), most of which were really nice. Although the nicest houses were in the slightly unpreferred locations; one in Newtown, v near the DW, which is good in some ways, but.. and another in Ince.
