But one fantastic try, by all accounts. Still 40 mins to get the win.

Sounds like we're playing with a hangover.

Think we're missing Bateman, amongst other things.

22-12. Still plenty of time, but we're going to have to change things, quickly.

Penalty after penalty, after penalty...

26-20, 10 minutes to go. We're still stuttering and stumbling along though. Doesn't sound pretty at all. Mistakes and penalties a plenty.

Still in it though.

26-24, with the kick to come. Powell misses it.

6 minutes to go...

Seems we like to make things hard and drop balls do not help with 3 to go.

26-28.

Phew, made that hard work. Sounded like we didn't want it until 20 to go. A win at Widnes though, that's a good two points.

Would be even sweeter if Saints and Warrington had lost as well

Just shows how much the WCC takes out of a team. At least its 2 SL wins and 3 wins from 3 can not remember when we did that at a start of the season.

Also we seem to be scoring tries for fun down Budgie and Gildart's wing.

Absolutely. And in the circumstances of tonight's match, any win was a very good win.
