I am sure some people can see where I am coming from here.
Do escare and Sam Powell deserve to lose their positions based on current form to be replaced by Tomkins and Micky Mac?
I agree what you say in an earlier thread about rotation, but when two player as in those mentioned are playing so well, it's difficult to see how changes should be made?

It is not about whether or not current players deserve to retain their places. It is about the attitude to injured players. Joel was past it and should not get in the side in front of players like Isa because he was doing well according to some when (in this example) Isa has never been as good as Joel.
People are writing Sam off to justify wanting Escare to keep his place. It is starting to happen with MM as well.
Players currently in the team may be doing well but if Wane thinks the likes of Sam or MM will improve the side further he is going to pick them.
In any case I have stated my opinion umpteen times that I expect MM and Powell to share the hooking role so for them there isn't an issue anyway.
and when it starts going tits up and we end up finishing in 4th place with no silverware due to costly errors made by said players, will you still be happy to force your opinion down everyones throat?
Let's is a contraction of “let us.” You use it to make suggestions about what you and someone else should do. Let's is NOT a promise

I disagree and I think Joel is a poor example to use. For a start he isn't a pivot - therefore has much less pressure to perform nor does his performance come under the Same scrutiny. Esstentially as a forward he can be rotated and has a few simple jobs to do.
Secondly he had an off colour season but generally he has been OK for us and he plays in a position that is expected to be rotated often coming back to his position not being a pivot
Escare is playing well, if he continues to do so why should Sam be allowed to have his place if there is no injury or drop in form. I've seen people say give him a chance to prove himself - how long is that because one or two games won't be enough so how long should escare sit losing form and match fitness while Sam attempts to proves he is good enough.
Full back is a pivot position and one in which you would not rotate unless injury dictates.

Who is forcing their opinion down everyone's throats??
There was only one poster who tried to do that & he has been banned!!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The biggest worry I have for Sam (and I really hope I am wrong) is that his game was all about speed, something that seems to have gone.
If he can reinvent himself, fantastic, but I do worry.
Before he left for Aus, he was a once in a generation player imo. A joy to watch.
I thought MM had a poor 2015 by his standards at least, just my opinion he set the bar s high though for me at least he just didnt get anywhere near his previous form, then of course that game happened.
As for Sam i agree he was a pale imatation of the player that left the club, but again that injury it was always going to take time, for me he'd finally found it then the next injury happened.
Such is life.
Oh on a side note,I'd have Isa in my squad every day of the week a true unsung hero in my book.

I'm not going to try and suggest Sam was back to his days before the knee injury in year to down under, but i actually do think he was playing well and contributing positively to our side in attack and definitely in defence last year, from his starting come back at Magic up to the home hammering of Wakefield.
If you take that stretch I honestly think he was playing well, as well as Escaré is now. Then he got a knock in that Wakey game and dipped in form before his season ended. The difference is, he wasn't as great as we all remember whilst Escaré has been better than we all expected. So we attach higher value to what Escaré is doing compared to how Sam was playing when he was actually fit last year.

Funny you question someone's balanced opinion when you can see in to the future!
