Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Better than Tommy but if we get Sam to 7 then we are better off.

Myler maybe average but that is still a lot better than we have at 7 atm.

Myler is probably, what, third or fourth best English half in the comp, after Gale, Williams, and...Sneyd?

Is he not Wigan standard?, makes you laugh really, we are in 8th place, not a very good standard is it
Let's is a contraction of “let us.” You use it to make suggestions about what you and someone else should do. Let's is NOT a promise

Does that suggest either McGuire or Burrow will be retiring?

Burrow is retiring at the end of this season Ted
Veteran Scrum half and Leeds Rhinos Champion, Rob Burrows is expected to retire at Season’s end.

The 34-year-old, 476 game veteran is expected to call time on his 17-year Super League career that has seen him win 7x Championship wins, 2x Challenge Cup Titles, 3x League Leader titles and 3x World Cup Challenge titles in what has been one of the most decorated career in English Super League.

The Rhinos confirmed the signing of Catalans Scrum half, Richard Myler for the 2018 season and beyond. Myler is to replace Burrows as he moves into the next chapter in his life.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I don't think he's better than Tommy at the things Tommy isn't particularly good at though. He's probably better than Tommy at the things George is good at, but you'd not have him over George would you.

The idea of a 6 & 7 doesn't apply to a Shaun Wane split halves Wigan side so people need to stop thinking in those terms until we get a very different coaching ideology.

It's speculation that Burrow is retiring, but does appear more and more likely. However, I would always lean against trusting articles that don't even spell the player's name correctly personally.

Well let's hope we get a few more 'average' players in for next season then.

Personally as i say id ben looking at a Rankin style player, a seasoned genuine utility player that can cover 1-7
