Re: Rail travel to the final.
Thanks very much for all the replies. Decided to drive down, just to be certain of getting there on time, and booked a parking space with justpark. 'The long haired one is now more than happy'.
Once again thanks for the help.

If the website had a 'like' feature you'd have got one for this, made me chuckle.Wigan_forever1985 wrote:I looked at train then gave up and decided to get the coach instead i know its 5 hours but at least its straight there and i cant get lost

I'm slogging it out on the trainline.com right now!jao711 wrote:Check Chiltern Railways online ,Birmingham to Wembley Stadium direct.Excellent trains.
Although they do trains to Wembley Stadium, I can't see any where the times tie in. Best I'm seeing is leaving Wigan at 0930 to get to Wembley Central at 2.30pm, 4 changes. In a word, it's a right faff!
Re: Rail travel to the final.
I've always parked in the Wembley Park tube station car park. In fact, if you get there really early, you can (or could, anyway) park in the street outside it for free! (Brook Avenue).
I'm starting to wonder about the feasibility of going on the bike. Over 200 miles, thoughbut. Plus a horrible journey right across to the other side of London afterwards (30+ miles!). Although arguably the cross-London bit would be even worse by car.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I drove down last time parked the car at High Wycombe after a pleasant journey down the M6 ,M5 and M40 .When you come off the motorway follow the signs for the station and its got a massive multi storey car park quite reasonably priced frequent trains into WEMBLEY STADIUM.I think the day return is £12.90 and you can get on any train. When you come out of Wembley the station its just like Cardiff all barriered off for trains 26 min journey and your on your way no traffic jams either way.Nezza Faz wrote:OAMJSON wrote:Driving and parking at the Stadium just like last time
