Well, the Hull game is also an effective playoff game.
Because of the points difference, we beat Hull, we go level with them on points, and will be ahead on the table in terms of points difference. IF we beat Hull and Cas, and Wakey drop points before our game against them, then we might have top 4 already secured. Of course, saints have a better points difference than us, so we'd need them to drop points as well for that scenario to materialise. Might be better if Wakefield beat Saints next week to take them out of the equation.
We just need to keep winning!

We win tonight, we go third. We lose, we stay sixth. It's very very tight for those two play-off places, and still too early to call. Saints have the easier run-in, and we simply need to keep on winning.

Great advert for the game isnt it when us who suffered our longest winless streak in 100 years and saints who were that bad they sacked their coach are still in with a shot of the main prize.
I am happy that Wigan are in the mix as a fan of Wigan but as a fan of Rugby League its shocking!

That's why i want a final featuring any of Cas/Hull/Wakey, i doubt we will make it, it would be a travesty to the game if it ends being Leeds v Saints, we really need new teams in the final, a win for one of the lesser clubs would be great for the game

Disagree with that term.
Everyone knew the rules before a kick was made. The competition essentially begins in the summer. The early rounds count for very little.
Personally I don't think we will win the competition even if we get to the final. Cas are a better team this year and I fully expect them to win.
That said if we do go on to win, then you cannot blame the club, if you must something, blame the structure of the competition.

how can anyone say its bad if we make the final...
i know it hasn't been roses but headline.
team battles through injury crisis to keep title?
its not bad, its good for Wigan and shows that a youth set up is beneficial for the game and the sport in general.

And me, I am currently camped in a field near Guildford but will be listening to Wish Fm or hopefully finding a stream my phone can hold without too much buffering with laptop tethered, cheering the lads on,
Hoping they can win the next 5 matches
