Ill try and explain it best i can but its by no means factual

1 injuries have hampered us( thats a fact)
2 we have missed escare more than sam at fullback i honestly think
3 sam at 6 george at 7 morgan at 1 next season please
4 we have really missed manfredis defensive hands and pressure relieving runs out of defence
5 budgie has lost a yard unless hes been carrying and injury for a while( it was also a massive mistake too play him centre)
6 gells is an awful defensive centre and doesnt have a clue about positioning( in play and especially against kicks in defence)
7 george started off well but for me is clearly injured and would be better at 7
8 tommy was never a good 7 and he does not know how too put a player through a gap( lockers does most of his creative play when hes also in team)
9 we have missed flowers go forward and he also seems too be our fittest( most minutes prop)
10 frank hasnt been our worst but, if hes on as much as people say, its been a big waste of money
11 tautai started well but has totally gone off the boil
12 sutton is sometimes very good but other times goes missing
13 mm has improved steadily but between him and powell one has too make way for a fresh running hooker for yardage and more options in attack( mm too stay for me)
14 ive never rated joel and never will...... he once scored a super try against wakey and also against leeds at wembley.apart from that he was an average team player at best.a must release player
15 liam and bateman havent been at there very best since the injuries and might not be fully 100%( still put in good shifts though regardless)
16 lockers has got too go unfortunately..... fitness should be the priority next season imo
17 wane has done wigan loads of good things and has worn his heart on his sleeve....a great motivator but hes no way a top class coach..some players are not good enough for his system and get dropped....others are worse but seem too get in regardless.... we can only go round teams and not through them..... hes run out of ideas and its time for a change because its clearly hampering our play.....good aus coach needed with a army pre season fitness hol please lol....
18 lastly fringe players who are not gonna cut the mustard should be released for one or two classy imports..... theres plenty out there who are not playing first team rugby.it sems too me that wigan cant spot overseas talent unless another team sign them first them first. Time too change
19 ooooh one more.... i think it was gimble who said we basically chucked the game at leigh for the challenge cup....big mistake and really dented my pride big time

The above is only what ive made of this season and i know wont make everybody agree but its my opinion and personally i dont care what others think.. you are also opinionated and i respect that

I don't like to make things personal when a team loses and I'm sure that SW is genuinely trying to win matches and improve himself and the team. The issues we appear to have are:

For most of the time, the same style is creating the same performance is creating the same results but we have done very little to rectify this.

As much as injuries have hampered us at critical times, a club needs a strategy that wins games with patterns and ideas into which the players fit. This strategy needs to continually evolve but be part of the thread of the club. We really on individual plays from Lockers to win most of the time.

There is an air of the coach not trusting his players and commenting on them in public. Ask yourself, would you push yourself for him based on this? Build a strong spirit and accept collective responsibility

Good post and i generally agree with most of it. Think Wane has been a good coach and brought us plenty of success that other teams only dream off BUT think hes run his course and fresh ideas and direction are needed.

We haven't had a settled team for most of the season particularly the half backs. Both TL and GW have been out for a number of weeks at different times.Any team needs a settled half back pairing. All the three quarter line have had injury spells(thank goodness for Marshall and Davies).with so many injuries you get them back in dribs and drabs and so the team is never the same.We were not the only club with this problem but we were badly hit.A good pre-season is no use when 70pc of you first choice players are injured, several out for the season.Cas are deservedly getting all the plaudits but they have had a settled team all year with a fairly small squad .Call this an excuse if you like but it's simply the facts.

Appearances this season according to Love Rugby League

George Williams = 33
Tommy L = 31

Luke Gale = 28
Ben Roberts = 23

Last game vs wigan number of castleford starting halfbacks playing in a game that was a dead rubber for them = 0/2

Last game vs Castleford number of starting wigan half backs playing in a must win game for wigan = 2/2

Result of last game Castleford win

Those are the facts
