Saints might of lost last night but there is an overwhelming sense of positivism due to their coach. They all firmly believe they have the right man to entertain them and bring them silverware next season.
Meanwhile wigan fans are distraught at the thought of another Wane led season
i think this hits the nail on the head of how the majority if not all Wigan fans feel at the minute
as much as i want to see Wigan win every game and every trophy i am also a realist and that wont happen
so i want to see a team that puts in 100% effort and commitment every week and plays an attractive style of rugby. If we win then all well and good, but if we get beat by a better side then so beit, as long as i know that the team has given their all - i can accept getting beat
unfortunately for me this season there have been too many players not performing / trying to an acceptable standard and the style of play is dull as dishwater to watch, so i feel i have been short changed on all fronts

Are those the same Redvee fans who thought Cunningham was the messiah? There are very few on that site that know anything about the game!

That's as maybe, but it's hardly in dispute that Holbrook has got Saints playing. With Barba up to speed, they will be a force to be reckoned with next season. Ironically, it was their goal-kicking that less them down. How many did Percival manage? One out of 5, was it? He's usually not a bad kicker though. But credit to Gale, he held his nerve; their season was on the line with that penalty and he nailed it.

Maybe IL is delaying the announcement until after the GF so as not to steal the headlines? We can but dream!

Well, I shall be renewing my season ticket.
I am as frustrated as everyone by our poor end of season. There are lots of things that need to improve.
But, I am now as always, a true fan.
There is far far too much negativity on this site. Too much complaining, too little effort to praise, what remains, the greatest game.
Support it. Build it up. Praise it for what it is.
Constant whinging becomes a habit, and brings no credit to either Wigan or Rugby League in general. What do those who do so much complaining expect others in football or union to make of our opinion of our own game? Hardly likely to win them over.
So, please, don't just complain. Be constructive and positive.
And above all, BE THERE next season.

Exactly. There's a 200 page thread on RL fans about getting rid of Brian McDermott

Though you didn't have one this year, so I am not sure the club will notice.

We will, as we have for nearly 40 years, be renewing ours, but we intend to write to the club and do so at e last possible moment.
You can be a true fan of the club and have given up on the coach and conditioning and medical staff.
I happen to think the team are lions lead by donkeys.
