As with most players in the current squad I consider him a victim of our coach.

When he arrived in 2016 he looked like the prop we needed. I honestly don't think we would have won the GF without his addition to the squad. An off season with Wane and having been fully indoctrinated in "Plan A" he looks crap, whereas in 2016 he played the way he knew how. Go figure.

If as seems likely Frank does go back home I’ll wish him well but bemoan what should have been,a lad that size should have been awesome in SL,lots of valid reasons as to why he didn’t but it’s such a shame.

Gaz Hock is available. I'd have him on a pay-as-you-play contract.

Just read on the BBC that he's left Leigh, and I thought I'd give him a 1 year deal. If we get injuries like last season we might need him.

And it will create a bit of interest if someone tells you "Gaz Hock is playing tonight"

I understand fan's sentimentality towards Hock but, After all the recruiting of former players and how "well" they have all performed, I would never attempt one with serious character flaws like this even if he was still in his pomp

If you want a "prospect" then how about Eddie Battye who was so impressive in the play-offs for London??

FPN’s play deteriorated because his wife hated it here! She wanted to go home last year!

Would any of you do or be able to do your job to your capability if every time you got home you got earache?

She never attended any games she didn’t socialised with the other players wives & they didn’t attend team/club get togethers!

I can believe that and understand it.I watched FP and he was a powerful prop in the NRL.Not everyone can get used to such a change in climate and lifestyle.Whether she tried hard enough we may never know.I wish him well even though he did not hit top form here we have certainly had many worse than him.
