Too much too soon?
Typical Wane "boys own" thinking. No reason to even consider it until Manfredi has a darn sight more than 40 mins under his belt.

Just why does Wane say these things? Why would Dom be in contention after half a game in the reserves?
Thank you Dave for talking some sense

Jesus it’s ludicrous to even mention him regarding the first team,a play safe friendly is a massive leap to the SL,there simply isn’t any reason for him to be even near contention, this isn’t about the now, this is about the future

The Head Coach was also happy to see Dom Manfredi making a return to action after suffering a long term ACL injury. Key points:

“He played 40 minutes and it was great. If he had played a bit longer I might have considered him for the Catalans game.”

Think the other post was just paper talk!

Shaun Wane also states in another interview that O’Loughlin should hopefully be available for the Saints game & with possibly another few training sessions Manfredi could also be in the frame for that game too.

Looks that way Josie,

Thankfully common sense has prevailed and Dom hasn’t been considered

There is no panic to get Manfredi back into the side. We already have good wingers in place right now, and that is discounting Joe Burgess. It will be a very big ask for him to come back as good as he was. If he does manage that, all well and good, and then it will be Lam who will be given the selection choices. But discussion about which of our existing wingers we should dump to accommodate Manfredi is ridiculously premature.

There wasn't a rush until that injury to Marshall. Looks serious.

Shame for Marshall it came from nothing and i hope hes okay.
Escare slotted in well so im not to concerned if Manfredi isnt fit but it looks like theclub having 4 wingers has paid off again like it did the year marshall and davis got their debuts

According to Wane the dreaded ACL and no I still wouldn’t play Manfredi,go with Escare for a game or two
