We threw it away with errors last night but it still should have been a draw that last try should never have been given. 5 and held means its over next play of the ball once he hed made his decision he should never gone to the video ref.
Wildcat your players held us done on the tackles longer than they should and only got penalised on a few occasions

Quite right re their try, but then again I couldn't believe Orr's first try was allowed, so 50/50 I reckon.

Bradford 14m
Halifax 15m
Featherstone in wakey
Batley in wakey
Castleford in wakey
Huddersfield 9m
Dewsbury in wakey
Dont have a winge at our gates. Solomonas was a valid try, he said last [not held] as solo scored. he had to go to the tv - justice!!!

I for one like to have discussions with other teams supporters, as long as it stays good natured. If it is just a case of who can throw the biggest insults, then this is pointless and not needed. We have freedom of speech the last time I looked, and don't think the comments by Wildcat to warrant any abuse back.(keep posting for me Wildcat)
Friday's game caused controversy, and I was as disappointed as anyone when the final try was given. I was sitting by the dugout and clearly heard KK shout held and put up his arm. However, I also thought the video ref made an outrageous decision by giving the Orr try in the first half. Benefit of the doubt to the attacking side was taken quite liberally in this instance, as it was clear he dropped the ball. Even Orr shook his head afterwards. So I think the last one evens up the error count in each teams favour.
Friday highlighted the need for more experience. We seem to panic in the final 20 when attacking lately, and have coughed up possession on a number of occasions when tries went begging. Wakefield in the 2nd half made an awful lot of unforced mistakes - we just didn't capitalise on them.
I'm sure we will be 100% better next year, and unfortunately with London winning, looks like both us and Wakey will miss the top 6.

From every angle except the ones the video ref had access to for making his decision. Presley couldn't say for certain that Orr had dropped the ball because on his views there was no clear evidence that the ball and the hand did not stay in contact, therefore he couldn't for certain say it wasn't a try. The video ref only sees certain bits of the play and has no sound, so probably missed Orr saying he dropped it. Therefore it had to be given because there were no solid grounds for it NOT to be given. Benefit of the doubt to the attack, and whilst it may have been wrong from your view, and maybe the ref and/or TJ should also have been able to see, it was the only decision the video ref could give.
Doesn't really cancel out the last try, which was again correct from what the video ref could see (although I'm told that on the replays you could see KK stick his hand up to signal the last tackle) but KK should never have handed it onto Presley in the first place.

As usual a good argument made there Fraggle. However, if it had been Jeffries scoring against us instead of Orr scoring against them, would your argument remain the same?
I think we were extremely fortunate to be given that try, but it was given by the video ref. If KK had the courage of his convictions (he clearly held up his hand and called "last")we would have sneaked a draw, which in the final analysis wouldn't have been good enough anyway, what with the Broncos winning.
IMO the top six is long gone now. We have Salford, Widnes, Hull, Saints, Leeds and Huddersfield left (I think) and we are 4 point behind London - game over!!

Probably, I'm always getting told off for giving the opposition too much benefit of the doubt! I think we called no-try watching the replay and were surprised to see it given.

A draw would probably have been fair, we played both very well at times and very poorly at other times, but the same goes for Wakey and neither side was visibly better than the other. A good, mid-table tussle!

Yep, we needed a win on Friday to have any hope. Instead we're at best 7th and at worst 10th, so close is the pack immediately behind the play-offs. But those 4 points are too much to catch up on London, especially as we'd need 5 points or a couple of 60/70 point wins to overturn the points for/against.
