No i play touch rugby..thats fine. I don't think its poo specially when im good. But when i play proper rugby im even better for playing touch. You get so used to having to break the line of defense without being touched by someone's finger tip that when you play rugby league and i can get touched its much easier to break the line. :D So i benefit from playing there. :P I am planning to try out for my college rugby team next year.

BTW to the person who said Touch is poo..have you played Touch rugby or Tag rugby because there is a difference. Tag is Rugby League without the tackle. Touch is a different sport. Different rules. The Aussies play it a lot more when they are younger possibly why a lot of em are better then us.

Oh just on a final note didn't Benje Marshel (sp) the No. 6 ace for West tiger who basically stepped half the team that game to go on a set up one of the best trys ever used to play touch rugby before rugby league?

EDIT: I hope i don't sound big headed. If i do i don't mean to.

I don't know, did he? I'm not saying your wrong but saying that could just be using something which isn't true at all to back up your argument. You should provide a source to this to back up your argument.

Im pretty sure. When i watched the game i heard the commentators say that he had come from playing proffesional Touch Rugby. Im pretty sure but there is a chance i could be wrong but i did get this from somewhere. Ive just not plucked it out the air.

touch rugby is great way to sharpen up on fitness levels when played the right way also it is a good way to improve on ball handling skills

Thank you. :D

I do prefer to play RL as i miss being able to tackle, hand off, kick and in RL the ball is allowed to touch the floor. But in Touch if it touches the floor (even if it goes backwards) its handover. So that does help you keep hold of the ball more.

Yeah some of the women are quite good. I normally play in a league (takes part on wednesdays) and just a general kick about on sundays. Ive not been for a few weeks but im gonna start getting back into it.

Its good also because people from all ages play. People like me in their teens all the way through to 30+. Good fun.
