Agreed and French clearly flourishes at FB (demonstrated at Paramatta too) so we need an option for standoff?

If Powell can't play next week, I'd leave tommy at hooker, and give young Smith a run in the halves with Hastings.

Harry Smith was in the last 19 so he should defo play next week. He’s just perfect & a player to look out for in the future!

When TL plays 9 he is usually spelled. Agree Smith should be in the squad but who goes to 9 if/when Tommy comes off?

So what was he given the no 6 shirt? Apart from players like Hastings who have their favourite numbers the squad had been given the shirt to match their expected starting position.

id play one of the academy lads, we have 2 who could fill the gap for powell if he isnt fit, I thought we missed him after he went off last night, he got us moving forward well last night with scoots etc
