We played well for 60 minutes and hung on for the last quarter, we played to a solid gameplan that wasnt flashy by any means. All our tries were scored from inside Hulls quarter, just like Widnes last week. We held the ball and kicked very well, we were solid in defence apart from the closing stages.
Again though Aspy gave me a reason to sledge him, when he get the ball in the second half, he was in the open, just field in front of him, but he just showed he has no idea at all what to do in a situation like that, he side stepped for no reason and just ran into the cover coming across, he really is embarrassing to watch at times, he tries but thats all he does.
All in all though, I'm very happy with the result and it made the drive home a happy one for me.

For once, we dominated the forward battle, until we tired in the last 15 mins, but that gave Orr & Moran a decent platform to work with, and I think they both showed how well they'll do next season with what looks, on paper, to be a strong pack. Sloppy tackling late on allowed them back in, but we were by far the better side, despite the close scoreline.
I was impressed with Wild for once...especially the way he caught their winger (Raynor?) late on stopping what could have been their winning try.
Good turnout from our fans, yet again...looked to be over 1000 of us there.

MoM for me was Danny Orr, but Moran, Tickle and Hansen all had good games too. Carney limped off early (surprise!)...haven't heard any news on what he's done this time.
