I actually put mute on when he was talking cause the sound of his drone...I mean voice was knocking me out.
He needs to take a leaf out of Pam Doves book (anyone seen League of Gentlemen?!)

I think he used to work as an undertaker in his previous life whats up with the guy ,ok he lost but he has one of the best teams in the league and the side he lost to played out of there skin to win it.

I thought Calderwood was very tricky. His defence is shocking he was caught out on Raynors try .He needed the cavalry when he made a feeble attempt to stop Yeoman near the line and he ultimately cost Leeds the cup when he knocked on with 3 mins to go.
I look at it this way - Who generally scores most tries? ans the wingers.
So if I have a great defensive winger then I can negate their threat. Calderwood will cost as many if not more tries than he scores.
Last try was Mathers fault as the fullback and it was a 50/50 between the 2 Mathers should have gone in at full pelt got the ball and gone through Calderwood. Radlinski would have gone straight in and cleaned Dallas out.

Mathers hesitated and then Calderwood thought he was going for it. Mathers was coming into the ball Calderwood was coming from the side.

Typical negative idiot.

By the way he scored a try and got a penalty try.

I believe weve found WNAC

But Calderwood? Now he is a {edited} brit.

Is that the same Calderwood with 104 tries from 138 games?

I seem to remember one of our previous wingers being criticesed for lacking defensive ability.

His name was Martin Offiah.

You toook the post oput of my keyboard Geoff so to speak... The thing is with Offiah he slotted into a magical team were his defensive frailtes were not publicised as much... or maybe they did improve. One of my lasting memories of Offiah is when he was at Widnes and we played them in the league at their place one Saturday afternoon... the time when ITV was showing RL matches. There was aabout 2 minues to go and Offiah went in at the corner for Widnes puttig them up something like 10-9 or 11-10 can't remember anyway we restarted by kicking straight at Offiah who duly knocked on...three plays later we get a penalty, Goulding converts and we win the match by a point. Calderwoond is in the Offiah mold so it's the rough with the smooth I think.
Even Jason Robinson had defencive problems, at times he was caught out with a bomb.

Dallas and Mark Bell were the complet players as wingers. But in terms of try scoring not in the same league as Offiah and Billy Whizz.

Takes all type of players to make a great side. Calderwood will give us a lot of power and speed out wide. As this season 1 side has benn a lot stronger with DV and Dallas although DV has missed quite a lot. Those 2 score more than the other 2 pairings. Hopefully with Richards and Calderwood strengthining our backs we will be potent on all flanks.
