So you reckon he has BLISTERING pace ?
Did I say that. He is very fast though. I can only probably pick 2 in the team quicker in the team next year and they are the wingers.

You dont play on the wing in the NRL if your slow you nugget

There's a thread on his injury on the Tigers message board, here -

General opinion seems to be ligament damage...now where have we heard that before?

Trust us! Not only does our team get hurt, but now the players joining our team are getting hurt. Hopefully that will be the last injury blow we recieve for a long time.
........and on the 8th day, God made Wigan Warriors!

Pedro I'll try and spell it out in simple terms for you.
I said that he hasn't got blistering pace.
You disagreed-which implies that you think he has.
So I asked you if YOU thought he had blistering pace.
To which you replied NO
Why the initial disagreement?
:D
I didnt I said he was very fast which he is. Vaeliekis girl said he was the fasterst in the NRL not long ago....

Typical of our luck I guess, just gotta hope hes fully recovered when he gets over here. He has 5 month to get fit so at least time is on our side, unles its a real bad one that puts him out for longer.

Just seen a story on Sydney Morning Herald site describing Richards as a player with the reputation of the "unluckiest player in the NRL".

He has broken his leg three times in the last 4 seasons. He described a loud crack from his ankle, but apparently hasn't had an X-Ray yet.

Sounds a typical injury-prone Wigan signing that may never meet his full potential at the club (but I'm just being pesimistic ) :(
