John h is certain it is a done deal based on his contacts. I’ve no reason to disbelieve him.
Re: Jake Wardle
Kind of missing that record breaking winger from that list, mate.

Based on what I have read, I would think our back line next season will be French, KPP, Wardle, Marshall with King & Halsall in rotation or with Sam going out on a SL loan.
Re: Jake Wardle
He absolutely had signed for Wigan.
I’m certain of that, and I’m also certain that was still the case 2 weeks ago.
I’ve not seen anyone to speak to since then and it could be a case that some deal has been reached between Wire and Wigan which has seen him involved in this King agreement.
I’d be very disappointed if that is the case.
The above scenario is the only way he ends up with Wire and not us.

I really hope you're right mate, but this odd King deal is a weird one and it does make me wonder if some deal has been done.Jonh wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 9:24 pm He absolutely had signed for Wigan.

We shall see in time.

Think you’ve already missed the reports coming from aus then
Re: Jake Wardle
Those centres are not going to scare anyone. Thornley is just poor and injury prone but even I was wondering if he’d be back a few weeks ago because we just have the inexperienced Halsall and KPP who is not a centre in my eyes. He goes OK against poor teams but not convinced it’s his position.
If we had King, Wardle and Halsall that’s much better and about as much money in a salary cap sport you’d want to invest in the first team centre positions.

Hasn't been an update since Wigan gave him improved terms after Newcastle's offer so...Dreamteam wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 9:42 pmThink you’ve already missed the reports coming from aus then. Knights main reporter seems to be pretty confident

He certainly knows a lot more than he lets on as well. He is one of the most reliable people on here. Regardless of his occasional comments on my posts I always look forward to the snippets of info he posts.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 7:52 pm John h is certain it is a done deal based on his contacts. Re: Jake Wardle
I can personally see a scenario where its announced post game instead of pre game, just in case we were to lose & saints win the shield. That's if the plan is to announce it tomorrow.
