Wigan Forever 85 has it right. Clearly understands.
Bang on mate I just can't see Peet throwing a young kid in the biggest game of the season so far

Powell will be a boost in terms of defence and leadership.

It is a big game, but i don't think we should get too carried away. The next two weeks are just an indication of where three of the top teams stand against one another right now. It won't be the same some the playoffs, and that's where the important matches are. A loss here isn't the end of the world, but a win also isn't that important in the context of the season. It means more than that as a one off game definitely, but we beat saints a good few times last year, but at the end of the year that wasn't my takeaway memory. Cup final and playoff knock out were.

I would agree with this.

That said, if we expect to lose anyway, it may be time to play the young lad.

Remember when our "kids" beat St Helens a while back? Kevin Brown/Stevo watch etc

You’re not joking!

Why on earth are we even talking about next weeks game just yet? Let us get over last nights game & wait until after the weekend when we could possibly learn more about our injury list.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

knew someone would mention that. But this is different circumstances. With a slight bit of tweaking, Experienced players can be selected. That counts for a very lot in such a big game. Oh, I don't expect or accept that we will lose. It is against Saints. Not the, Invincible 13. Sorry for being slightly rude.
I have supported Wigan RL since the late 80s. First game was a cup tie v Barrow. Also a fan of football and Speedway. Have a varied taste in music.

lol

Not at all.

I don't think he will go with anything other than "safety first". It's not Peets style.

I expect ISA or KPP in the centres and no young debutants.

Because we're excited! That was a good game and I want the next one to come round straight away!

If Wardle gets a ban (which he shouldn't), one option would be Faz at centre. Sound defence should be the priority to counter Lomax, Welsby, Roby etc, and let them worry about Bevan and our

French
King
KPP
Faz
Marshy/Miski
Powell
Smith
Cooper
O'Neill
Byrne
Isa
Shorrocks
Smithies

Ellis
Singo
Havard
Astley/Forber/Miski/Thornley???

Happy to leave it to Matty Peet, but thought I'd join the fun.

Why are we all assuming Wardle will be suspended?
