I think last night we just started to see glimpses of French finding his feet at stand off. I still feel like it leaves him a little bland in attack as he doesn't have anything like the space he gets at fullback.

I definitely think we'll start to see more switch plays with Field once he's settled into the position a bit more. Peet is aware of what a threat his running game is and will not want to lose that element of our attack. Might be a good thing to bring in later in the season as it will give us something different to throw at teams in the big games.

Based on what evidence Mike? That neither of them look remotely like a no 6? Because they don’t in my opinion. If we are honest they are both full excellent backs but neither look like a 6.

Miski has done a great job and has proved me wrong as to how good a winger he is but I think we’d be better with French on the wing and a proper no 6. Whether that 6 is Cust is debatable but that isn’t the point.

Of course Miski getting the option taken up doesn’t automatically mean he’s first choice on the wing but from what I have seen trying to fit him, French & Field into the side doesn’t work compared to when we had Cust playing well at stand off and French on the wing and Field at full back.

To me French free scoring runs are missed this season,yes Miski is a decent winger again though it's Wigan signing a player when at the time the side was pretty well off in that area rather than looking at where the side was weakest but he's here now for at least another year so it'll be interesting to see how he goes.

As for French and Field you're bang on they simply aren't a 6 in any way shape or form but we shall see

Those free scoring runs are missing. I just don’t think we are as good without a proper 6 and French on the wing. How often last season did French and Field combine for a try when French was on the wing?
