Flights are around 120 liverpool to girona now. Car hire - 40 quid (between 2). Hotel 90 euros (60 quid between 2). Match tickets 15 quid? Car parking (france 15 euros, liverpool 30 quid = 40 quid between 2).

So about 180-200 quid before food/drink. But for that you get a weekend break with your own transport for the same as the clubs 200 day trip.

What day do you fly Mike.

We are on the 5.40pm friday flight from liverpool.

Using Catalan sport tours for the transfer but trying to get as many people as possible on the saturday cst pub crawl before the game.

It only £7 and it will be fantastic.

Same flights. I'm a cheapskate, so I may find out what pubs you are going to and go as a private individual....

Although, last time just hanging around outside the fast food (well as close to fast food that the french do) shop that sold beer in the centre of town was quite good fun. I might do that as well. Depends where the clubs coach load end up.

for me to take my wife two children and myself it is going to cost around £800.no team is going to take any significant amount of fans there. salford wakey and a few other teams probably wont take any.if the french teams attendances suffer the amount they can spend under the salary cap will suffer.even if they do well this year religation is only a matter of time for the catalan team.

One thing you're forgetting is that they have a sizable fan base over there already. At the 2002 cup game the attendance was something like 7500, but only 150 of us were Wigan fans. I was reading something today that says Les Catalans have made their case on attracting crowds of 3500, and I don't think they will have too much difficulty in matching that. It's only as many as London, Salford etc attract to their games, but Superleague is much more of a novelty for the French so this season I think they'll be ok no matter how many or few away fans travel over.
