I think the wire management will be in no doubt about his feelings of returning.

Re: Toby King
It does feel odd that everyone suggests Keighran as a stand off but he's not playing there. Surely we've signed him as a centre? We'll find out next year.

Who have wire signed? Would be nice to keep KingBrennox7 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 12:18 pm Seems Warrington have signed two centres in the last few days. Both project players granted but with ratchford and matauitia there as well as Connor Wrench do we see King fitting back in?
He’s had a great year but maybe burgess and co don’t see him as a wire player next season?
I’d happily keep him and put keighran at 6 as in my opinion, I think either field or french will leave after next year (hoping not)

Re: Toby King
King looks really settled here but after all,he is a Warrington player so the ball is in their court I suppose.
Re: Toby King
I can see King going on loan if Wire play hardball with us. Then he will be a free agent following season and will sign for usfozzieskem wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 1:09 am King looks really settled here but after all,he is a Warrington player so the ball is in their court I suppose.
I can not see us keeping that backline together long term given the cap.
He does not want to be there they do not need him and he wants to stay.
Re: Toby King
The main issue with why King didn’t want to be at Warrington has now changed with the departure of Powell.
I’m sure he will be back there in 2024.
If the right deal can be made for 2025 then I’d love to have him back but we also have to look at our succession planning in particular around Eckersley.
