Good news, anyway. If anyone has fought for a place, it's Abbas, and hasn't he repaid us in spades?

From a dreadful debut to being (in my opinion) the stand out player of last season, one of the great Wigan stories and he completely deserves this contract for all the hard work he has put in.

I believe that it is a two year deal with a further two year option in favour of the club. Same as Field.
