as they say theres no substitute for speed.
First of all why would Pat Richards being fastest player in NRL 2 or 3 season ago be on the NRL "not to long ago"Martin Taylor posted:
I think your find he was, it was on an NRL web-site not too long ago, and it was also mentioned some time shortly after he announced he was coming to Wigan on the T.V. And mate, having fantastic speed is a very important part of his game.
Second of all it was never mention in any statement made by wigan and it doesn't feature in his profile.
Thirdly speed is not the most important part of his game obviously when he is open space he runs but he relies on his strenght to break through tackles than to run around them like Dallas does.
Final all these players are probably faster than Pat Richards: Rhys Wesser, Chris Walker, Brent Tate, Leon Bott, Luke Burt.
Also Brett Dallas was never the fastest player in the NRL so basically you think Pat Richards is faster than Brett Dallas.
I'm a big fan of Pat Richards and he will do well at Wigan but not the fastest in NRL he ain't even the fastest at Wigan.
