Why, why, why???
Re: Why, why, why???
A quick count of highlights gave me about 9/18 matches wearing the home kit so 50%.
Re: Why, why, why???
Doesn’t seem many does there’s barely any need for an away kit let alone 3

Why can't they use a vintage home shirt for the charity shirt every season, would probably more as long as it isn't the viking shirt

I often wonder how big, if any, the disadvantage of not wearing your normal colours is.
How often a player may, even subconsciously, make a pass or offload on the basis of the shirt colour that he is used to seeing.
Maybe it's worth 1%, maybe nothing, maybe more.

Cannot say that this comes as àny surprise. Many of you, certainly Josie and Mike will remember my regular grumbling/moaning at the constant selling of other designs.
Members on here should bite back, only buy the 'proper' home or at a pinch the away shirt every other year and when they invent a 'charity' or magic shirt give £20 to the charity we are supposed to be supporting. The charity will get twice or more as much and you will save lots of money.
Everyone should follow Josie and wear cherry and white on Friday.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Why, why, why???
Pretty sure people would moan regardless of what they do so i guess they may as well do as they please
I'm not sure what the grumbling is - you aren't forced to buy any shirt, you aren't forced to wear the same shirt as the people on the pitch, you aren't even forced to go to the game
the price of entry to the game doesn't change with the shirt that's being worn.
The "Controversy" as someone put it may just serve to highlight the charity i suspect this is the plan

Re: Why, why, why???
The 'moaning" is that we simply don't play in our home kit enough. The club colours are cherry and white and we should play in them as much as possible. Away kits should be saved for when we are playing away to teams who wear similar colours to us to avoid kit clashing. I'm not bothered about the price of shirts or anything because I only really buy a shirt once every couple of years.
