I found this a very informative write-up.
Rads said "He added that element of experience when we needed it." Despite Mike's limited time on the pitch, part of the reason he was brought in was clearly the influence and example he could give to our younger players.
The fact that Cooper calls the club a family, and that Matty Peet talks about his sons also shows how the culture at our club underpins everything we do and the success that we achieve.
From ejecting Hardaker in his early days, Peet's philosophy, backed by Rads, seems to that a winning team is produced from solid foundations of togetherness, discipline, "having each others' backs" . . . and, boy, has he been proved right.

Sad news, I thought he had played more games for us than he actually did, such was his impact. Great player.
