However it's concerning they can't make it to financial viability. They're never going to be doing any better than they are now, so if the fans and money aren't there now it's a concern for when their onfield performance drops off.

They moved from an old stadium that was perfectly located for their fan base to a new stadium on the outskirts of Eccles with nothing around it and appalling poor access. They both restricted their older fan base attending and made it lest tempting for any neutrals to just attend as traveling to it is a commitment due to Trafford.traffic.

It's easier now from Manchester as you can get tram or bus to the traffic centre and the shuttle over or walk. Before that there was only one road and the motorway which dumped you on the same road.

Are you saying they're crowds are down after the move from the willows though. If I remember correctly they only ever got 2-3000 there in recent times as well.

I’d say the last couple of seasons Salford have improved their crowds from the willows days always a big ask to grab new supporters with that well known football club down the road
