Yet again proof of how poor the RFL administrators are. We've just had unprecedented press coverage for a RL event, reaching areas that never report RL (except when there is some negative press !) . We should have been all over the advertising for Ashes tickets as soon as the game started. It's really pathetic.

Aparently, even though the NRL "really value the international game" there's too many stakeholders to annouce something like that at this point! I imagine they'll drop out around June time citing the Vegas travel.

Headingley all but sold out on the first day of ticket sales . How daft was this choice of venue. Could have increased the gate revenue massively for this game if they had put it on at a sensible sized venue . You would think the RFL was rolling in money . NUTS !!!!

i cant remember which person it was in the RFL said that was their marketing tactic. Sell out Headingley so people buy tickets for Everton and Wembley. You really couldnt make it up could you
we have a chance of selling good numbers for all 3 tests, but now most wont get chance to watch a decider if it goes to it because the RFL buckled and chose Headingley for a final test v the Ozzies
i also dont buy into the bull, that Wane and the players wanted to play there at all

On the flip side of my argument that is a positive, but i think Everton would have sold out anyway as its a new stadium and many of us want to go there for the 1st time
i still cant get my head around Headingley, unless they know its going to be 2-0 to the Ozzies and then they've got a decent crowd for a nothing game

Got ours for Everton, great to see good sales, but Headingley is a baffling choice. Talked to a colleague at work who is a football fan in Sheffield, he didn't know there was a series happening, and also knew that headingley isn't suitable. It must be hard to plan around a new football season, but not impossible. The thought of the western terrace in November means I'll be watching on the telly... Bramhall Lane would have been a good choice.

Let me know if anyone been genuinely unlucky not getting decent Everton tickets due to RFL not sending codes. I may be able help Wigan fans out.
