we could quite easily (easily maybe wrong term

) win all 5 games, and it wouldn't surprise me at all. Equally we could lose a couple, and that at this stage of the season is most likely, as we havent been fully firing but when we wanted to v Wire, we turned it on, and no team in the league can live with us when we play like that
at the end of the day, we need to secure a spot in the top 2. HKR are firing, but wont be able to maintain that all season. Hull we battered in the league, and somehow they've got themselves into 2nd spot. Yes, they are a different side to the one from last season, but IMO a long way from challenging for the league leaders shield and GF. Outside of that we have the usual suspects of Saints and Wire who are indifferent, and on paper we should beat them both
O'Neill being back adds steel to our defence, but we probably lose a little going forward as Leeming offers something slightly different, but i would expect them to rotate over the next few weeks to get O'Neill fully match fit. Miski and Keighran both out impacts our right side, so we may find others attack that edge but our counter is the strength on our left side with Junior, Wardle and Marshy. I also think we've been giving Thompson a rest during games, so we may see him do some big shifts over the next few weeks and utilise his engine to keep others fresh
i'm comfortable with where we are at. yes, its not nice to lose games but equally we cant win every trophy every season, so being out of the CC will give us a couple of rest weeks to freshen up the players and keep them fit to ensure we have a good go at retaining the GF and 3rd in a row
