I wouldn’t be picking Walmsley or Bateman.
Walmsley is a shadow of his former self, been a cracker but seems more prone to errors in his game now(thought he was shocking against us today).
Bateman should be nowhere near the team. Been shocking for about 4 years!!
If he’s picked it’s because of favouritism, which is just crap.
The best should be picked for the team, not past reputation.

Can argue about who is in the squad but that 17 I think has enough on the bench to cover any issues in-game and keep up the intensity. You can add in Smithies for Nicholson or replace with another prop like Max King from Canterbury or Mulhern if he is eligible.

On present form Sam Walters should be in the squad,he has improved vastly.

I can't believe there'd be that many Wigan players in it. What about Morgan Knowles? Shaun Wane is a fan, isn't he? And Radley is a bit of a head-banger.
