My only problem with him was that he appeared not to have the bottle to display even a yellow card until 62 minutes worth of mucking around by the Giants and that was after a belated "Don't do it again" type chat with Thorman.

I thought Bentham had a pretty decent game. There was a high penalty count which was mainly due to Huddersfield playing around at the play-the-ball. Perhaps he should have brandished the yellow card earlier to keep the infringements to a minimum, equally you'd think they'd have learnt from repeat penalties!
One thing I have noticed is that the defending players are getting longer to move away from the tackle and the attacking player is penalised for trying to play the ball too soon. Whilst you could argue this slows the game down marginally it may work to stop Leeds diving at every play the ball the win penalties.
