the point is thoguh matthew, they arent even performing at their best which is even more dissapointing. i wouldnt mind if they ran out and challenged teams and gave them a good match. losing i can take but when the team doesnt turn up i cant stand the fact that they get paid to do something that they dont. its not rocket science. give me a shirt and i would give it my all and im only enarly 15 but i would at least show pride on the field and give it my all

This whole "stick by your team" thing is ridiculous. It's a fair point. Yeah, stick by your team. But why should paying supporters sit in a cold, wet stadium week-in week-out to watch such tripe? If we don't show our frustration and anger, who will?! It is our right as fans to stand up and say "You know what, you're playing bloody awful. Sort it."

After all, I paid £100 for a season ticket this year to watch these "performances". I come from a rather poor family and these rugby 'players' (if we can call them that) are earning a hell of a lot more than the most of us! And for what? 1 win from 5 games.

I will always be a loyal Wigan fan. But I ain't gonna sit there in the JJB every week and harp on about "Ooo don't criticise your team, Catherine, that makes you a glory supporter!" - fiddlesticks to that.

I think we should stick by the team, stay behind them, keep turning, but let them know how far they are from being worthy to wear the cherry and white.

It's because we care that we criticise. It hurts us and it should hurt them. If they really cared, they would understand our disgust with them, and do something about it.

Getting fit would be a good start - we are clearly the least fit team in SL.

The weekend's games are one of the few things that make work vaguely tolerable for me, but when you get tripe like last night served up to you, the patience is definitely tested.

We seem to play okay (when the opposition doesn't seem to be bothered to play against us) but when the opposition fronts up against us we p[ay like chickens with our heads cut off and resort to carting it up the middle or stupid telegraphed speculator passes which are picked off as easy as you like.

I can accept losing to a better team. What I can't accept is playing with no guts or passion.

We can't use the "sack the coach" solution as this over the last decade is what's got us into this mess.

Lockers needs to start earning his coin as Captain and start giving the rounds of the kitchen with some of these "players" (I use the term loosely for some of the people on the paddock last night who were Missing In Action). It's his job to translate and organise the coach's instructions on the field of play.

lets hope he does the same to the fotball team if you go down he will kick you out of the stadium! the football team in wigan are more likely to get religated.
