here is an idea why doesnt millward get all the players together and ask them where do they prefere to play! then before he forgets it someone could wright down all the answers and the team would pick itself.

I thought Moran was pretty poor v Wire and way below how he played v Hudds (when he was scrum half).

I suspect we have a problem in that both Orr and Moran are better when acting as scrum half.

So do we have to play one and not the other and, dare I say it, partner Kevin Brown at stand off with one of them?

Definitely.
And since neither Orr nor Brown can kick, it would have to be Moran at 7.

aswell as keeping Orr 7 and Moran 6 think IM should be leaving wingers as wingers (Dallas) and placing Ashton back in at full back for the trip to Cas! The kid hadn't done anything wrong upto the Warrington game and look how badly we ended up doing. If Millward is trying to prove a point to the lad to keep him on his toes I would understand if we were in the top three but were not and need to start winning games.... get Ashton back in and place Dallas on the wing losing games to prove a point is not the way forward all this experimential stuff should of been done in pre-season!

On Fridays display Moran has to be dropped, Orr had a far better game but was trying too hard to do it on his own. We need a 7 or a good 6 (Barrett???) with Orr at 7. (Lockyer looks well pee'd off at Bronco's???) There are better scrum halves than Moran in the lower leagues!! He was never a playmaker but a finisher!!
on the 6 & 7 splitting that is not the case .. look at Salford on TV on Sat and how Robinson (how much do we miss him now) and Dunnemann linked up to spread the play and give the centres/2nd rowers good service out wide = made breaks!!
I agree to get ashton back at 1 & get Radz on the coaching staff to tutor him!!!

As a car needs an engine a RL team needs a half back paring, and we ain't got a half back paring. Unfortunately the best idea we cannot do at the moment. That is get rid of both Orr and Moran, neither of them have done anything to shout about. They are a liability that are costing us games. :(
