You obviously dont Know Lindsey. He is for himself and the reason he is joining latics is hmmm rats and sinking ships
I personally have a gut feeling DW is moving his mate out of the way before he himself decides to jump ship and sell us.

When we last made the challenge cup final in May 2004 Moris announced that we were in a period of transition. Of the team that was named that day he has got rid of :-Martin Aspinwall, David Hodgson ,Brian Carney,Adrian Lam,Terry Oconnor, Terry Newton, Craig Smith , Mick Cassidy,Andrew Farrell, Luke Robinson,Mark Smith Qentin Pongia,Stephen Wild.
Bob Beswick and Kris Radlinski. I know there are also other players that have left but the point I am making is--- this sort of exodous is bordering on insanity.
How many of the current team have any expieriece playing with each other this season? Two -- Dennis Moran and Danny Orr the two play makers who are not able to compliment each others game.
The above moves are all down to Morris who has lost the plot.So he has reached a stage in his association with rugby league where it was time to go.

I think your reet Horsey.
If relegation beckons, then my guess he will amalgamate us with Orrell, sell them both or some dodgey deal and we move out of the JJB. Leaving the Cuckoo Latics in their beloved nest.
Stinks if you ask me.

Maurice can't be blamed for all of them leaving.
Some were past it, some were injured, some got better offers, and dare I say it, some of them were not good enough but were carried by the rest.
What do you think is going to happen now?
Because he has gone to the Latics, are all our problems solved?
Will the two Latics directors who don't give a damn about RL sort it?
Theres worse to come, mark my words.

You missed the point. The reason for some of the players leaving where ok. But "Transition" should mean the slow introduction of new talent not the total destruction of a team To be replaced by players no better than the poor ones who left.
The new directors are really good at what they do best. I just hope they do not try and copy Morris who thought he could spot a good buy for wigan. They should leave it to the coach and scouts.

I bet you lose your bet (if it doesn't include friendlies, which we have played at Edge Hall for a couple of years now).

And of course, none of the players that were listed as having left since 2004 were brought in by Maurice, were they? Oh, hold on. Perhaps he was responsible for virtually all of the coming to the club. If you're blaming him for them going, then you've got to credit him for bringing them here in the first place.
