it's now reported on "Sporting Life":

"
We have brought in a young forward called Jordan James from Swinton this week. He is a back-row forward and the fans have to realise it is very hard to recruit any high-profile or established player at the moment. Clubs in Super League and the NRL are loathe to release them."

If this is definate then how long is the deal? Its obviously its a replacement for Hock who is out for the season and prescotts injury as well as forced Millwards hand.
The deal is to the end of the current season with a longer deal if he is a success. I don't know this lad but some of the postings are verging on the hysterical. ' Millwards building a team for Div 1.' according to Stevethered. Have you ever heard such garbage?

Yep! I suppose, though, young Jordan would probably agree he's not in the same bracket as Solomona.
Or maybe he is, and nobody's noticed?

If he has signed for the rest of the season, then the chances are he is going to be playing for a new contract next year. All being well, this is going to give us someone with passion and drive.
Good luck to the lad

I am sure Jordan has no illusions about his abilities or this signing but I couldn't believe the wording of the press release!
